Description We are in search of a diligent Financial Analyst for our Finance Consulting team based in GREENWICH, Connecticut. This role provides an opportunity to transition into a contract-to-hire position. In this role, you will be expected to process loans, assess risk, and handle customer inquiries in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Process and review loan applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place Conduct thorough financial analysis, including examining financial statements and conducting background checks Collaborate with sales representatives to gather required documentation from clients Assign specific deals to the appropriate lender based on analysis and assessment Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally Assist lenders in setting up new deals by providing necessary information and support Utilize MS Excel for data entry and financial analysis Conduct risk assessments and pull merchant’s credit information for review Draft contracts for new deals ensuring all details are correct and in accordance with regulations Communicate with clients via phone to guide them through bank verification processes Ensure all paperwork is thoroughly checked by the Underwriting team before funding the loan. Requirements Possess a bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field. Have at least one year of experience in a financial analysis role or similar. Proficient in MS Excel and computer data entry. Knowledge and understanding of loan products is necessary. Strong skills in financial analysis are required. Experience with credit - commercial is beneficial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Possess a proactive approach to work, with a strong drive for results. High level of integrity and trustworthiness. Must be eligible to work in the country of application. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
