We are excited to continue growing and building upon our Golf Fitness and Wellness Team as a whole. We are seeking an individual with a passion for the game of golf as well as health and wellness, and a desire to work within our golf performance team incorporating our TPI-trained PTs, nutritionists, mental performance coaches, and massage therapists, focused on impacting the lives of our clients in a positive way. Our Golf Trainers must be TPI certified or willing to become TPI certified, with personal golf experience. They must also have the ability to help clients improve their fitness level and reduce risk of injury using a golf-specific fitness approach. They ensure clients are using proper form/technique when exercising and need to be able to effectively communicate and work with local golf professionals, PTs, and other professionals that are part of the golfer’s health/wellness team. Come join us on our journey!CornerstonesPerformance Optimal Health is driven by five main cornerstones that are ever present and inform all actions and decisions regarding how we scale, what direction our business takes, and how we conduct ourselves.· We care from the core· We sweat the small stuff· We are teachers & scholars· We take ownership· We huddleKey Areas of Ownership· Performance Optimal Health Golf Trainers work individually with clients, collaborate with TPI certified PTs to carry out and implement client’s established plan of care, and communicate with the golf fitness team and golf professionals· Must be able to effectively communicate with physical therapists, golf professionals/coaches, and other members of the wellness team.· Ensure their clients are doing exercises correctly and within guidelines established by the patient’s Golf Fitness evaluation and the POH model· Promotes all facility programs/activities by discussing other services that may assist members with optimal health.· Maintains professional and technical knowledge about exercise, health, and fitness by remaining current with trends in the industry.· Provides personal training sessions (one on one and small group classes)· Oversee operational duties of the Performance Site· Communicate with other management regarding the facility· Participates in facility events, activities, and seminars when directed by management.· Other duties as assignedRequirementsNational recognized Certified Personal Trainer certification. ("NSCA / NASM / ACE / ACSM")· TPI Certification or become TPI certified upon hiring· Personal golf experience· Ability to travel between several Performance locations.· Experience with the ability to safely and effectively fitness train clients.· Management experience is preferred· Experience instructing clients with golf training· Excellent customer service skills and strong work ethic· Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously· Professional manner, discretion, and appearance· Excellent verbal and written skills· Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational· Strong team player· Awareness of proper body mechanics to prevent injuryBenefitsBenefits at a full-time status:
