What You Will Do
- Provides exemplary customer service to our team members and delivers warm, knowledgeable HR support; acts as a company ambassador during internal events, as applicable

- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
- Identifies training needs and partners with the appropriate parties within the organization to address
- Creates unique training content and revises present training programs, as applicable
- Oversees the quality of delivered training and provides best practice suggestions
- Provides subject matter expertise regarding GalaxE’s learning management system (LMS)
- Supports and maintains all corporate policies, procedures, quality, and confidentiality standards as outlined in the GalaxE Group Employee Guide
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation for domestic operations; advises HR Manager on and supports policy creation
- Supports the full life cycle of employment, including onboarding and exit processes
- Provides tactical consultation and guidance to management (coaching, counseling, development, disciplinary actions)
- Maintains employee-related databases and prepares reports for management
- Organizes, completes, and presents projects as assigned
- Partners with our onshore and offshore teams, as applicable
- Promotes professionalism, and a collaborative, learning environment within the team; works closely with other HR team members to provide 360 support
- Innovates best practices in people programs and implements an array of HR-centric programs
- Works closely with management and employees to improve communications, enhance working relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Analyzes trends and metrics in employment practices to develop solutions
- Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations
- Maintains records, reports, and logs to ensure compliance
- Uses available tools, including MS Outlook/Word/Excel; UltiPro; other software, etc.
- Understands GalaxE policies and processes; own HR processes and obtain required approvals, as applicable
- Keeps manager informed about progress, news, and delays
- Exhibits a “no task too small” attitude and is a team player
- Other duties, as assigned
- Strong HR project management skills
- Understanding of learning and development best practices
- Ability to create and deliver unique training content to a group
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including wage and hour regulations, compensation practices, organizational design, diversity, performance management, federal and state employment laws
- Thorough understanding of applicable laws, guidelines and policies
- Excellent customer skills with strong communication (written and verbal), presentation, and organizational skills complete with the ability to effectively and reasonably interact with diverse, inter-disciplinary, cross-functional teams
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to develop productive working relationships with others.
- Ability to develop strong professional relationships with all of the organization
- Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to use critical thinking skills to effectively resolve issues
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills, Internet and email applications.

- Physical requirements include: sitting, standing, and computer work for long periods of time
- The ability to travel required, including possible overnight
- Knowledge of the IT services industry a plus
- Familiarity with HRIS, UltiPro preferred, and LMS systems
- HR certification is a plus
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of Human Resources and/or learning and development experience, or
- Master’s degree with 1 year of general HR and/or learning and development experience
- Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
- Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
- Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
- Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
