Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR Assistant in the hospitality industry, located in Stamford, Connecticut. This role will primarily focus on assisting our team with a compliance audit while also managing necessary paperwork. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and execution of a compliance audit Manage necessary paperwork, including Payroll Records and I-9 files Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy Utilize Excel for data manipulation and analysis Apply previous experience in Human Resources, particularly in roles focusing on compliance and audits Manage Payroll Records and I-9 files proficiently Maintain a strong understanding of HR procedures and compliance regulations Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining thoroughness Requirements Possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. Proven experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Payroll management. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally. Knowledge of labor laws and employment legislations. Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
