Investment Analyst

About the role:The Investment Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for:Maintaining dynamic database of portfolio positions to monitor and generate internal reports.Maintaining investment data accuracy and integrity in reporting systems.Collaborate with investment managers, custodians, and internal teams to validate data accuracy.Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual investment reports for internal and external stakeholders.Assist in the preparation of senior management communications including board level, investment committee and other presentations and reports.Maintain and enhance reporting templates and dashboards.Support financial planning process for investments, including planning for future periods and analyzing actual results against plan.Analyze investment performance across asset classes (bonds, equities, and alternatives).Monitor portfolio compliance with insurance-specific regulatory and statutory requirements.Work closely with the investment team to review and monitor existing asset allocation in actively managed and external mandates and make recommendations to optimize the portfolio.Report on and optimize aggregate cash positions across all portfolios and entities.Review performance for externally managed assets.Prepare ad hoc investment/risk analysis.Support monitoring, reporting and analysis related to alternative assets.
