IT BUSINESS ANALYSTAs an IT Business Analyst, you will build the long-term capability, performance and team management of the existing and future IT business analyst team including staff, partners and suppliers in order to improve and optimize service delivery within an assigned portfolio of applications or services aligned with business goals and objectives, including the following responsibilities: Identify and implement improvement opportunities (both process and technical) from risk registers, customer feedback, supplier performance reports and output of incident/problem management processes. Manage and recruit business analyst team in line with long-term skills and capabilities aligned to the investment and capability development plans. Lead on defining and implementing continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and development for the business analyst practice team. Provide strategic direction to the business analyst team and undertake project related analysis work while holding accountability for the quality and consistency across projects of team output. Drive the implementation of consistent processes and methodologies across a capability ensuring compliance with key business requirements. Complete all support documentation on assigned projects, including creating and updating all user and technical procedures/manuals, business, and functional requirements, traceability matrices, process flows, operational support documentation and archives. Ensure accurate root cause analysis and corrective action identification, with the eco-system partners followed by providing architectural oversight and guidance for major changes to operational systems.The position will be accountable to Manager, Lead IT Projects - Electric Business Unit. In this role, you will facilitate the collection, tracking, and management of incremental IT operating costs and develop processes that track performance against financial targets. This is a highly visible role that involves interaction with all levels of IT and Finance Management and will provide exposure to the financial operation of a Global IT function. The ideal candidate will be someone, who is considered a positive change agent, a seamless team player and will have key responsibilities to: Partner with Portfolio and Finance Teams on the collection of incremental run-the-business (RTB) costs for inclusion in the annual budget and the multi-year Strategic Business Plan. Establish processes to track budget variances on a regular cadence and identify risk and opportunities for escalation to senior stakeholders. Embed Governance and key controls within key process such as business case and sanction paper development; thereby, ensuring costs align with budgets and are accurately forecasted.
