IT Service Delivery Manager
GLOBAL/ENTERPRISE EXPERIENCE - HYBRID WORK ENVIRONMENT - 130-140K - FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CT You are the service delivery manager for North America overseeing all infrastructure projects and accountable for the support of infrastructure operations. You will manage a team of technicians who are subject matter expertise in their respective areas of data and voice networking, server, storage, virtual and physical edge compute servers. Under the direction of global service lines, you will own the implementation of infrastructure elements to global standards, you will provide level 2 day-to-day infrastructure maintenance and support. What you’ll Do:- Manage the Infrastructure:
- LAN, WIFI, Firewall, SDWAN, WAN: Internet, MPLS, 5G
- Edge Compute, Storage, VMWare, Windows Server, Backup/Recovery
- Deploys short and long term strategic and tactical plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements in alignment with global service line strategy and roadmaps.
- Develops, implements and maintains policies, procedures and associated training plans for infrastructure administration
- Manage service providers (SLAs, KPIs, Financials, service reviews, work orders, etc.)
- Directs and administrates a contingent of network and systems administrators, conducts regular 1:1 and performance reviews and where necessary, takes corrective actions
- Conducts feasibility studies for various upgrade projects, improvements, and other migrations
- Manages vulnerability, cyber security measures and non-compliance while leading remediation activities
- Develops plans upgrade/maintain/refresh infrastructure in partnership with industrial plant management during annual maintenance windows
- 7+ years of experience managing and delivering infrastructure and operational excellence
- 5+ years successful leadership of an IT operations team
- Hands-on experience with network and/or edge/data center compute/storage administration
- Demonstrated leadership and personnel/project management skills
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills
- Current knowledge of common network protocols and standards (SDWAN, WIFI, Internet, MPLS, 5G, LAN, VLAN)
- Solid understanding of firewall devices and security measures. (Fortinet preferred)
- Working knowledge of SDWAN
- Knowledge of Layer 2 network design and standards, including Ethernet WAN technologies, 802.x
- Knowledge of IT & OT integrations (Plant automation/controls, industrial DMZ, Edge compute) (Preferred)
- Knowledge of industry automation/controls (smart sensors, PLC, HMI, SCADA, etc.) and how they interact with IT systems (Preferred)
- Solid working knowledge of mature ITSM/ITIL framework
- Experience working in a large IT enterprise, team-oriented, and collaborative environment
