Lead DevOps Engineer Hartford,Connecticut 9 month Contract Description: Platform DevOps Engineer is responsible for the deployment of all code releases, the care and maintenance of all Salesforce environments (sandboxes) as well as executing on the CIBTD (Continuous Integration, Build, Test & Deployment) framework employed on the Enterprise Service Platform sitting on Salesforce. Championing the mindset of DevOps and SAFe Agile within the team to achieve business benefits including: Faster Time to Market, Faster ROI, Predictable Release Cadence, Optimized Delivery Times, Cost Optimization, Waste Elimination and Risk Reduction.Takes ownership and drive design/architectural vision of the pipeline by identifying areas for improvement, both delivering automated enhancements and championing best practices across the group. Advocating and Embedding DevOps engineering concepts and practices such as Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Design, Refactoring, Code Review, Code Quality and Automated Testing, Branching Strategy, Continuous Monitoring.Required skillsTeam LeadershipLead responsibility of the DevOps team Manage the team to ensure optimal delivery and ensure the correct resource is in place to meet demand Coach and mentor team members to ensure they are building the correct technical and non-technical skills to be successful within a high performing team.Fundamental Components Direct and assist multiple application development teams in supporting a multi program development platform

• Hands-on experience in maintaining and managing code across multiple environments
• Responsible for DevSecOps enablement and support of new and existing programs on the platform
• 8+ years of experience in distributed cloud based software development with strong automation mindset
• 2+ years of leading and managing cloud based application Devops team(s) on the Salesforce and Heroku platforms
• Extensive experience with Dev Tooling and CI/CD tools VSCode, Jenkins, Gitlab, AutoRabit, and SFDX, Unlocked Packages, SonarQube
• Strong understanding of version control (git), branching & merging strategies, and build setup
• Experience in handling Salesforce Metadata/Orgs/Devhub/Sandbox managemen
• Experience with the Salesforce Platform Packaging (unlocked packages), SFDX, Apex, Lightning, Vlocity
• Mastery of advanced Git (e.g. conflict resolution, cherry-picking, rebasing), one or more popular CICD tools.

• Experience in building environments and migrating code using ANT, Change Sets, AUTORABIT
• Experienced Security code Scanning tools CheckMarxs, Apex PMD, and SonorCube
• Experienced in Test Automation suites, Selenium
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer 1 RequiredPreferred Qualifications:
• DevOps Certifications where applicable
