Litigation Paralegal (temp-perm)

Beacon Hill Legal's client, a national law firm located in Simsbury, CT, is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal for a temp-to-perm opportunity. The paralegal will support the litigation defense team. Experience in insurance defense is a plus, but experience with billing and discovery is a must. This role is in-person while contracting and would switch to a hybrid schedule if converted perm.Requirements proven knowledge of electronic filing requirements at state and federal courts in Connecticut; excellent research and writing skills; ability to forecast and calendar court filings and docket deadlines; organize, prioritize and implement urgent tasks with strong attention to detail; demonstrate proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and PDF maker (Nuance or Adobe Pro); demonstrated efficiency navigating the internet; iManage experience a plus. a Paralegal Certificate is not required, but preferred.Please submit a Word version of your resume for consideration.
