Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?This position will be part of the critical Modernization Workstream team of teams but will report through the newly created BA/DA Center of Practice. The person in this position will be expected to perform data management and analytics activities for intermediate complexity efforts, with limited oversight from more experienced team members. The incumbent will have abundant support from the BA/DA Center of Practice. The day-to-day work would include, but not be limited to, profiling and understanding raw data from various Rate Quote Issue sources, relating data to a defined model, and providing subject matter expertise for an assigned team. Other responsibilities include testing data as it lands to ensure quality and timeliness, resolving defects within the assigned team, partnering with the Ingestion and Product teams to ensure flow of data, gathering requirements, and working within the agile methodology on a fully stacked team.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned team concerning profiling of data, requirements gathering and testing within the Cloud environment.
  • Research moderate to complex questions and issues and collaborate with Tech partners to resolve.
  • Serve as primary point of contact to upstream and downstream partners. Build relationships with internal partners and customers.
  • Ensure data quality and availability of data based on established SLAs.
  • Ensure adherence to Data Management practices.
  • Participate in BA/DA Center of Practice meetings, trainings, and other community events.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
  • Bachelors degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Management tools, techniques and programing languages
  • Demonstrates general understanding of overall data models, data relationships, mapping lineage and business rules
  • Experience performing data analytics and writing complex SQL queries
  • Experience with Data Profiling & Data Quality, recommending improvements to best practices
  • 8 years of data management or relevant analytics experience.

What is a Must Have?
  • Bachelors degree or 4 years of relevant data and analytics experience.
