job detailsRandstad has immedidate opening for a Quality Inspector in Hartford, CT The Manufacturing Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet specified quality standards before they reach customers. This role involves inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products, as well as documenting findings and collaborating with production teams to resolve quality issues. The ideal candidate will have a great attention to detail, experience with quality control processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities

Inspection: Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Testing: Perform various tests using measurement instruments and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM machines, to verify product dimensions and characteristics.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and non-conformance reports. Prepare quality reports for management review.

Quality Standards: Ensure that all products comply with internal quality standards and customer specifications. Identify deviations and take appropriate corrective actions.

Process Audits: Conduct regular process audits to ensure adherence to established procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.

Root Cause Analysis: Collaborate with production and engineering teams to investigate and resolve quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
