Job Title: Drafter/DesignerJob DescriptionThe primary responsibility of this position is for the coordination and layout of HVAC systems, including duct work and piping for our commercial and industrial clients. This role will be focused on CAD/Revit for commercial mechanical construction, including HVAC, Sheet Metal, Piping, and Plumbing disciplines. We offer a complete package of facilities services, including HVAC, mechanical and electrical construction services, engineering, design, installation, repair, and 3D Mechanical drawings for field installation and coordination with other sub-contractor trades.Responsibilities
Participate in coordination meetings to resolve clashes while maintaining budget and constructability requirements.
Confer with project management staff to resolve issues; review drawings with the production and field teams and adjust as necessary.
Travel to various project sites as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
High School Diploma
1+ years of HVAC Drafting Experience - Piping, Duct work, Building Systems
1+ years of Commercial Project Experience - office, hospital, industrial, warehouse, clean rooms
1+ years of Revit
1+ years of AutoCAD
Experience with construction drawings, architectural drawing, structural drawing, and elevation
Experience with subcontractor relationships
Knowledge of BIM 360, BIM Collaborate, commercial building, and commercial construction
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Certificate in CAD/Revit (preferred)

Work EnvironmentThis position requires working in the office five days a week, partnering with two other drafters. The team is close-knit with excellent tenure. Hours are earlier, with employees starting anywhere from 6:30am to 7:30am and finishing around 3:30pm, so flexibility is needed.
