Job Summary:Pratt & Whitney Mechanical Systems, Externals and Nacelles (MSEN) is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Project Engineering Professional to support our F135 Engine Core Upgrade (ECU)Team.Key Responsibilities:

Leadership of hardware development team within the Mechanical Systems module

Responsible for setting roadmap and vision for long range product development through entire development cycle

Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities for Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) work packages that align with assigned work.

Ensure risk analysis and gap closure plans are in place to address module and part level issues.

Understanding & deriving verification & validation requirements

Identify validation testing and product risks, and monitor execution of burndown plans

Travel: 5%

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering

8+ years of engineering experience OR 5+ years of engineering experience with an Advanced Degree in Engineering.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated effectiveness in working across functions, organizations.

Demonstrated technical leadership experience managing budgets, and schedules.

Prior experience in validation activities for development programs

Knowledge and experience with Project Management toolsets (e.g., Agile, SAP, Primavera, or MS Project, DOORs).
