Position Description: We are looking for an accomplished and capable NodeJS Engineer to join the team! We have built our success through timely bets on emerging technology, rapid execution and skills development.

This role can be performed in Bloomfield, CT or Lafayette, LA. Your future duties and responsibilities: As a NodeJS developer, you will contribute to generating high quality backend code while creating a more efficient and sustainable workflow. You will also inherit/define reusable functions to build the application more efficiently.

You will be a key player in the definition and execution of CGI and Client goals.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• 6+ years experienced in Software Development as a NodeJS developer.• Hands-on development and Proficient excellence in backend API development using Node.JS.• Expertise in building Middleware / API experience is must.• Experience with AWS ( AWS Cli, AWS Lambda, knowledge on EKS/ECS, AWS Dynomo DB, working with S3 buckets) with minimum 3 + years of working experience in it.• Experience with MonoRepo environment.• Expertise in RDBS/NoSQL familiarity.• Develop solutions using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) patterns, automating business process models, API enabled gateway and multi/hybrid cloud-based services• Experience in Dev Tools: VS Code/ IntelliJ• Experience in Version Tools: GitLab/GitHub• Experience in Testing Tools: Postman• Experience in OS: Linux OS /Mac familiarity• Ability to work well in a fast-paced Agile team environment and be able to effectively drive cross-team solutions that have complex dependencies and requirements.• Good understanding of Dockers, Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline and Maven.• Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science preferred.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,300 - 127,700.
