Payroll Administrator

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in Cromwell, Connecticut. In this role, you will be engaged in various functions within the financial services sector, with a focus on payroll processing, employee engagement, and onboarding. Responsibilities: Accurately process payroll using accounting software systems like Paylocity, ADP Workforce Now, and Ceridian. Utilize HRIS, particularly Paylocity, for various HR-related tasks. Assist in the onboarding process to ensure smooth transitions for new hires. Actively contribute to employee engagement initiatives. Assist with scheduling recruiting interviews to facilitate the recruitment process. Address employee inquiries promptly and professionally. Participate in ad hoc projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping of all customer credit applications and records. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Leverage skills in Accounting Software Systems, Benefit Functions, Paylocity, Onboarding, and Recruiting to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.Requirements Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is crucial for this role. The candidate must be well-versed in Benefit Functions. Experience with Paylocity software is a prerequisite. The role requires familiarity with Onboarding processes. Skills in Recruiting are essential for this position.
