PC Technician

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a PC Technician in Enfield, Connecticut. The role will primarily involve a refresh project, during which you will upgrade user systems and perform data transfers. Responsibilities: Upgrade systems for a large user base, aiming to enhance 60 laptops per day Execute data transfers efficiently over a LAN, training will be provided Ensure timely arrival for daily tasks, beginning at 8:00am Collaborate with a team of technicians for data transfer tasks Develop proficiency in a variety of technologies including Computer Hardware, Dell Technologies, IBM, Linux Technologies, and Mac Computers Gain experience with AB Testing, Active Directory, Apple Devices, Backup Technologies, and Cable Installation Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency throughout the project Ensure the smooth running of the project and meet daily targets Handle any technical issues that may arise during the data transfer process Ensure user data is correctly and safely transferred, maintaining confidentiality and integrity. Requirements Proficiency in Computer Hardware is required, with a focus on troubleshooting and repair Familiarity with Dell Technologies and IBM is crucial, as these will be the primary systems used in the role Knowledge of Linux Technologies is necessary for system and server management Experience with Mac Computers is essential due to the diverse technological environment Understanding of AB Testing is required for software and system optimization Proficiency in managing Active Directory for user and resource management Expertise in handling Apple Devices, including troubleshooting and maintenance Skilled in Backup Technologies for data protection and recovery Experience in Cable Installation for network setup and maintenance Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
