Project Manager Salary - Commensurate with Skills and Experience Employment: Full Time Location headquarters: Stratford, CT Summary Our work includes exciting new and renovation projects ranging in size from single story to 30 story high rise buildings as well as medical, institutional, and industrial facilities. We build high-end quality systems utilizing Pro-press and conventional connections. Our varied scope of work includes underground piping, chilled and hot water systems, condenser water piping, steam and steam condensate, process piping, etc. Required Skills and Qualifications

Work with Operations Manager to plan and schedule projects, assuring that necessary resources and workforce are available.

Manage projects from design to field installation and job closeout. Assure that work conforms to approved plans and is delivered with quality, on time and on budget exercising vendor and subcontractor buy-outs.

Oversee and coordinate field installation activity, assuring that the appropriate personnel, materials, and resources are at work sites. Communicate with contractors and clients as appropriate to assure that client requirements are satisfied, and quality standards are met.

Make decisions on the work site within established plans, specifications, and company policies to address problems and achieve planned results. Resolve day-to-day operational problems.

Support the sales process by developing accurate, timely estimates of cost and profitability for prospective work.

Manage project teams, supervising employees, building a highly skilled, high morale, highly productive team. Recommend the hiring of capable people to add to the future success of the firm. Provide performance feedback, coaching, training, to develop staff to full potential. Help build a strong team with the ability and commitment to expand the business. Recommend and implement performance counseling action as needed.

Provide effective communication processes throughout the field teams, including prompt distribution of plans, specifications, shop drawings and job scope.

Maintain paperwork and records required by the position. This includes processing change orders, purchase orders, contracts, RFI log and accurate job files.

Receive and review appropriate department financial information on a timely basis.

Increase business revenues by satisfying customers, developing referrals, and meeting personal sales and marketing goals.

Identify areas where operational processes can be improved and work with others toward the goal of continuous improvement.

May provide design and technical leadership in such areas as sheet metal work, plumbing/piping systems, or other specialty within the HVAC and mechanical trades.

Collaborate with other staff to provide assistance and support. May fill in for absent employees and help with peak workloads.

Participate with the management team to develop plans and policies for company operation.

Perform Engineer Design duties on design build project and other duties as assigned or as operations require.
