React Native Developer

Role: React Native Developer Location: Hartford Connecticut (Onsite from day one/ Hybrid) Duration: 6-12 months Roles/Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product team and be the face of Cognizant team
• Design and developing new user-facing features using React Native
• Migrate existing iOS and Android code to React native
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance

• 4+ years of experience working with React Native.
• 5+ years of experience in building Mobile application using iOS or Android
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax and the TypeScript superset.
• Excellent knowledge of React and Next.js.
• Excellent knowledge of modern state management libraries (Flux pattern).
• Experience both with REST and Websocket based web services.
• Experience building framework and platform agnostic packages.
• Experience working on complex enterprise systems, or proven ability to successfully deliver a greenfield product.
• Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Demonstrate a passion for the work and be enthusiastic about software development.
• Should be someone who strives to learn new things to improve their skillset. Constantly following industry news and trends. Regularly tinker with new technologies
• Ability to articulate your thoughts in a clear manner.
• Comfortable in presentations with excellent oral and written communication skills.
