Seeking Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Caregiver

Seeking PCA/PT home health care assistance for 90 yr old Simsbury woman with mid-stage dementia

She is registered with CT's Home Care Program For Elders and is remaining in her Simsbury home for the time being.

She is of pleasant demeanor, somewhat high functioning and interactive although she does have hearing difficulty. She does not have any anger issues and is typically cooperative.

We are hoping to fill the following shifts:

Mondays and Tuesdays: any 2 hour shift between 1pm and 5pm

Thursdays and Fridays: any 2 hour shift between 10am and 3pm

Weekday 6am-8am shifts possibly available as well, but still TBD.

Duties are primarily companionship, monitoring/light bathroom assistance, warming up pre-prepared meals.

Competitive hourly pay, depending on experience.

If a registered PCA with GTI (through DSS), we'd love to hear from you. If you're not, but still interested, involved in healthcare/elderly care and possess patience and compassion, we'd love to hear from you as well!
