Minimum qualifications the hired candidate must possess all of the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for the position including:
  • BS Engineering with a major in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering
  • 5+ years

    relevant

    design experience
  • Multiple years experience as designer of electronic functions and sub-systems, including experience with working in multidisciplinary design teams to establish agreement on specifications.
  • Requires experience in one or more of the following technical skills
    • Digital Design
  • Design of digital data acquisition system
  • VHDL embedded code for FPGA logic
  • A/D and or D/A
  • Testing Validation and Verification (V&V) of requirements
  • Analog Design
  • Low noise analog interface for sensor application; photonics sensors
  • Power amplifier design (motors / actuators)
  • Capacitance gauge, LVDT interface design
  • A/D and or D/A
  • Testing Validation and Verification (V&V) of requirements
  • High Voltage (>1KV)
  • Test Equipment Design
  • Development of test equipment and test procedures to test and qualify analog and digital circuit boards or electronics racks
  • Implementation of data acquisition hardware / software
  • Experienced in LabView
  • Hands-on working knowledge and experience with:
    • Electronic Design Automation
    • E-CAD (preferably Mentor Graphics xDX/xPCB Designer)
    • Circuit Simulation Tools (i.e. PSpice or other)
    • Electronic Laboratory Equipment
    • MATLAB or similar modeling software
    • Python
  • Soft skill requirements

    • Strong English Communication Skills both written and oral
    • Technical Presentation Skills
    • Experience presenting to executive leadership.
