You’ll be responsible for overall employer contract loading using various databases and/or source documents. We provide the training, resources and opportunities you’d expect from a Fortune 5 leader.The Senior Enrollment Data Manager position guides customers (and/or external vendors) towards effective & efficient enrollment solutions across multiple service platforms. This position owns, drives, and maintains both inbound and outbound EDI integrations between UHC’s internal enrollment systems and other customer/3rd party software systems for member benefits, incentives, and financial products. This position may also directly support Enrollment Operations via training, mentorship, reporting, analysis, process design, and general procedural/technical SME support.This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.Primary Responsibilities:

Implement and manage enrollment & eligibility functions for singular clients across multiple service platforms via both existing and future technologies (EDI, API, self-service, one-time load, etc.)

Support client management with research and develop customer specific resolutions

Support client management with both EDI and general Enrollment expertise

Understand and develop comprehensive knowledge of core enrollment capabilities, channels, guidelines, and requirements

Consult with customers/vendors to analyze and understand enrollment needs

Provide guidance on most effective and efficient enrollment solutions

Analytical- Identify cause and effect relationships between known variables

Builds and maintains partnerships & relationships with customers, vendors, teammates and other business partners

Function as an enrollment subject matter expert for both internal/external entities as well as Enrollment Operations staff

High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

1+ years of experience with enrollment and eligibility

1+ years of experience within health insurance industry

1+ years of experience analyzing and resolving complex issues

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (edit/create spreadsheets, filter/sort data, search/find & replace)

Experience working as an Enrollment Data Manager on one or more of the following service platforms: ACIS, CAMS, Cirrus, Nice, Prime, Surest, UHCBS and/or UHOPS

Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday between 8:00am – 5:00pm local time including the flexibility to work occasional overtime given the business need

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) OR equivalent work / educational experience in business or technical/analytical field such as computer science, information technology, or finance

Knowledge of healthcare industry standard enrollment transaction sets (x12 834, LIMRA/LDEX, HRJSON, etc)

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (ability to create pivot tables and VLOOKUP)

Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Access (ability to create/maintain databases)

SQL and Visual Basic knowledge and experience

Telecommuting Requirements:

Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy

Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
