Job Description :
  • 6+ yrs. of experience as Quality Engineer with exposure to ETL and Data warehousing and Cloud technologies especially Azure stack
  • Should have prior experience working as QA coordinator with offshore QA teams
  • Proficiency in SQL with hands on experience on Oracle databases, SnowSQL (Snowflake)
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries to perform data validation and reconciliation across data lifecycle
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure/DBA and test data management teams
  • Ability to work independently, in team-based environment and able to communicate with technical and non-technical staff
  • Evaluate/review business/functional/technical documentation and highlight gaps
  • Come up with test plan to ensure any data quality issues are identified and triaged
  • Perform requirement traceability to ensure right test coverage
  • Solid understanding of QA testing environments needs and strategy
  • Ensure proper test data provisioning to enable effective test execution
  • Perform test artifacts reviews and walkthrough with project teams
  • Perform manual and automated testing as needed
  • Conduct defect triage and publish test execution metrics & status reports

Background
  • A bachelor’s or master's degree in technology, computer science, or engineering
  • Extensive experience demonstrating a thorough understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • 6+ years software engineering and quality assurance experience
  • Financial Services industry experience a plus
