- Conduct a deep date dive to make sense of anomalous activity and rule out false positives
- Collaborate with design team to express data in a user-friendly manner
- Develop visualizations to display data insights in meaningful ways
- Conduct constructive peer code-reviews to assist in the success of the team
- Identify production issues and implement fixes to resolve them
- Take part in collaborative software-architecture brainstorming sessions
- Understand errors and incidents in production
- Participate in on-call rotation
- At least 7 years of technical engineering experience
- Expertise in ES6 & Node.js
- In depth experience with React and webpack
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience leveraging SQL to manipulate data for application consumption
- Strong UX sensibility
- Experience creating public APIs
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment
- Understanding of importance of security on design decisions
- Familiarity with data intensive systems with high performance in data retrieval
- Familiarity with unit testing, test-driven development, and behavior driven development
- Ability to quickly learn and integrate new technologies
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience in an Agile setting a plus
- Experience using a ticket-based management system a plus
- Experience running PostgreSQL in a large-scale production environment a plus
- Familiarity with Websockets a plus
- Familiarity with frontend data visualization libraries a plus
