What this person will do or some project details:Work Location : Hybrid 3 days onsite at Bloomfield, CT (Preferred) or Franklin, TN We are seeking a Senior End-to-End Integration QA Engineer to support the CMS Burden Reduction / CMS Interoperability program. This role is heavily focused on API testing and validation of HL7 FHIR-based healthcare APIs, ensuring regulatory compliance, data integrity, and high-quality end-to-end integrations across complex healthcare systems. Key ResponsibilitiesAPI-Focused End-to-End TestingOwn and execute end-to-end API and integration testing for CMS Burden Reduction initiativesValidate HL7 FHIR-based REST APIs including payloads, schemas, headers, authentication, and error handlingPerform deep API validation across upstream and downstream systems and integration partnersEnsure data accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance across API workflowsAgile & Program EnablementParticipate in Pre-PI Planning, PI Planning & break-outs, Release retrospectives, and Technical Design walkthroughsEngage in Sprint Planning, daily stand-ups, and System Demos as part of System QA/QETest Planning, Design & ExecutionContribute to Test Strategy during PI Planning (scenarios, dependencies, risks, regression impact)Provide end-to-end test estimates for assigned features (story points)Define and review Acceptance Criteria using GIVEN-WHEN-THEN formatDesign, automate, and execute end-to-end test scenarios (positive, negative, integration)Identify test data needs and provide inputs for integrated test environment setupExecute tests based on business priority and critical pathsWalk through test evidence and provide demos for feature acceptanceDefect Management & GovernanceCollaborate with Product Owner, Architects, Developers, RTE, and QE Leads on defect managementSupport warranty and post-production validationMaintain daily Jira updates for features, test execution, and defects Required Skills & Experience8+ years of experience in End-to-End / Integration QAStrong hands-on API testing expertise (must-have)Extensive experience using Postman for API validationStrong knowledge of HL7 FHIR, Healthcare Interoperability, and CMS Burden ReductionExperience with Playwright for API and UI integration scenariosStrong experience with Jira for test and defect managementExperience working in Agile / SAFe environments Tools & Technologies:Postman (required)PlaywrightJiraREST APIs, HL7 FHIRCI/CD-aligned testingNucural (preferred)Key Stakeholders:Solution QE Lead, Product Owner, Developers, Solution Train Engineer (RTE) Architects
