We are looking for
ServiceNow Developer for our client in Windsor, CT Job Title: ServiceNow Developer Job Location: Windsor, CT Job Type: Contract Job Description: Pay Range: $57hr - $63hr Responsibilities:- Working on Configurations and customizations to modules.
- Field content & data population.
- Tool configuration.
- Functional and performance testing.
- Ongoing user support.
- Onboarding of new teams and users.
- Moving development work, code fixes, new work from one environment to another.
- Performing weekly releases.
- Responsible for researching, planning, coordinating and delivering solutions for the ServiceNow platform.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide best practice advice on how to enhance the ServiceNow implementation.
- Establishes and manages system integrations in ServiceNow.
- Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced java scripting of each.
- Researches and applies available ServiceNow hotfixes, patches and upgrades while ensuring configurations and customization's function as expected.
- Manage incidents/problems related to the ServiceNow platforDevelops and manages service portal and catalog items.
- Develop and manage operational metrics reporting and dashboards.
- Ensures that service requests for new users, reports and other requests related to ServiceNow work are prioritized and completed.
- Develops business rule workflow customization's in ServiceNow.
- Identifies, analyzes and resolves data and system issues of intermediate complexity.
- Successfully plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all technical tasks related to configuration and implementation of all aspects of the ServiceNow platform.
- Provide software coding and customization including, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow, administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations and custom application development.
- Update and maintain a comprehensive testing protocol for ServiceNow instance upgrades with the purpose of certifying all applications for use after the upgrade completes.
- Coordinate and solve complex technical data and transformation issues.
- Obtain and analyse/interpret business requirements to purpose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow.
- Answer technical and application configuration questions.
- Develop, maintain, and execute reports to ensure system operation meets performance targets.
- Create and maintain system design and operations documentation., Complete other duties as assigned.
- Create technical implementation requirements.
- Work with support team to ensure documented technical process and procedures follow ServiceNOW best practice guidance and are in alignment with standards
- Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNOW and its applications
- Provide on-call 24/7 Incident Response as required.
- Develops, validates and executes comprehensive test plans.
- The ideal candidate should have experience administering other systems, creating and maintain process documents.
- Fundamental understanding of IT service management and the ITIL business processes.
- A minimum of 5-6 years with developing in ServiceNow.
- Experience with Performance Analytics, Service Portal and custom integrations.
