Sharepoint Specialist

I have an opportunity with one of our top tier organizations for an Sharepoint Specialist to join the team in East Hartford, CT. You will work in Sharepoint, Service Now, and with the IT organization to handle daily operation issues and coordinate resolution to make sure deadlines are being met.

• Monitors Service Now ticketing systems for escalated issues
• Process work orders, incidents and problem tickets.
• Deal with change requests for testing and system enhancements
• Test and evaluate new tools and processes for the department
• Work closely with Infrastructure Team, Project Managers and Engineers to ensure deliverables are being met.
• Be the point of contact for system integrity and performance issues
• Work daily within Sharepoint to handle customization requests
• Handle Sharepoint incident tickets / data entry issues
• Documents, tracks and communicates issues, aids in bringing to resolution
• Daily Support for SharePoint Access, new site creations, customization, and staff training.
• Provide Subject Matter expertise to the SharePoint developer and end user community
• Manage and revise the layout of all SharePoint-related sites.
• Manage SharePoint users, document/control/report access to all document libraries, permission settings, and associated changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues or malfunctions
• Experience with file transfer tools experience is desired

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
• IT, Systems, or Software work experience would be a plus!
• Exposure to project management technologies and tools would be a plus!
• Excellent communication skills
