Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly financial statements and management reports

Conduct general ledger account analysis and reconciliations as part of the month-end close process

Oversee the maintenance of the fixed asset ledger, depreciation calculations, and capital expenditure requests

Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax reports

Evaluate financial operations and recommend best-practices, identify issues and strategize solutions, and initiate improvements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required

5+ years of experience in progressing accounting roles

Strong understanding and experience with GAAP, financial statements, accruals, fixed assets, depreciation and reconciliations

Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
