Description Our client in the Danbury, CT area has a Senior Accountant opening. The Senior Accountant will be tasked with managing daily inventory, assisting with month-end closing tasks, preparing tax returns and annual reports, and constantly looking for ways to improve processes. This is a potential Consultant to Full Time position. Responsibilities: Oversee daily inventory activities, which includes tracking and forecasting inventory and generating inventory reports. Assist with tasks related to month-end closing, such as making journal entries and analyzing the general ledger. Prepare tax returns and annual reports to maintain financial transparency. Continuously observe current processes with the aim of suggesting and implementing improvements. Use Microsoft Excel for various tasks, showcasing advanced skills and proficiency. Handle bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. Experience in generating and analyzing Inventory Reports, providing insights on inventory levels and turnover. Proficient in Inventory Tracking, monitoring inventory levels and maintaining accurate inventory records. Experience with Inventory Forecasting, predicting future inventory needs based on historical data and business trends.
