Surveyor

Hiring a land surveyor for a major engineering consulting firm in Hartford County. This opportunity offers exceptional overtime potential as well as a clear path for professional growth within a thriving industry.Description:This company is looking to add a land surveyor to their team to help grow and develop their career in the industry.

Responsible of the care, cleaning, and use of a variety of surveying tools and equipment including field radios.

They will also handle daily operation and basic field adjustments on transits, total stations, total electronic station, data collectors, levels, compass, tribrach's, and tripods.

They will coordinate field work for a variety of standard types of surveys under the supervision of a Party Chief.

They will be expected to keep neat and orderly field notes for standard surveying operations: leveling, traversing, topographic mapping, layout, as-built surveys, boundary surveys, profile and cross-section surveys.
