The Systems Engineer will be responsible for protecting the system against advanced persistent threats. Building and maintaining Windows servers in both our physical and virtual environments. Maintain our local data center. A dynamic individual who can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities:Experience building MS servers both physical and virtual environments Partake in technical design reviews, integration, testing, and documentation work DNS and DHCP configuration and management Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory VMware administration Experience managing Citrix virtual applications and virtual desktops Troubleshoot both security and network issues Familiarity with Cisco network hardware and iOS commands Experience configuring and supporting Cisco Routers and Switches Troubleshooting Windows server environments McAfee Antivirus ePo management Update, sustain, and administer a high level of security for in-house security infrastructures Managing and leading security incident response effortsApply system security engineering principles to deliver real solutions premeditated to enhance the security position Identify threats and develop suitable defense measures, evaluate system changes for security implications, and recommend enhancements, research, and provide support to the IT staff for resolving difficult cyber security issues Configure Windows and Linux host-based security as well as network and cloud-based security systems Support with the installation and configuration of network security architectures, including firewalls, router ACLs (Access Control Lists), web content filters and Demilitarized Zones (DMZ)Educational / Minimum Requirements: Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Computer engineering/science preferred CompTIA Security+ certification a plus CISSP certification is preferredMust have a minimum of 5-7 Years of relevant IT experience in a similar role 2-3 years of MS Windows Server administration is preferred Experience with Cisco iOS command line experience with switches and routers is preferred Experience with Cisco ISE Radius Servers along with TACACS and NAC knowledge is preferred Experience in Java, .Net, C, Python, bash, power shell is a plusSpecial Requirements: Ability to maintain multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Diverse IT experience with the willingness to assist in multiple areas when needed Solid understanding of Windows printing and support- ID: #44910026
