Position: Tattoo Artist

Wage: $102,000 per year, 40 hrs/week

Responsibilities

Perform custom tattoo services using professional machines and sterilized

equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Consult with clients on artwork, placement, size, and style; provide recommendations

based on skin tone, body location, and client preferences.

Prepare and maintain a sterile work environment throughout the procedure.

Draw or trace original artwork and transfer stencils to skin with precision.

Apply ink using tattoo machines while monitoring pain response, skin condition, and

healing risks; advise clients on aftercare and healing process.

Maintain accurate client records and a professional portfolio of completed work;

promote services via studio materials or social media.

Participate in studio cleaning, equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and other

general operational tasks.

High School diploma or GED.

Minimum 24 months of experience as Tattoo Artist.

Valid Connecticut Tattoo License.
