Visual C# Software Engineer - Consultant

Our direct client, a leading company in the pharma and medical device field, seeks a consultant to work on a C# desktop application which will be used in manufacturing and calibration of a medical device. In this role, the consultant will work to code, test, deploy and continue to enhance the application. Some design work has been done, but the company wants to accelerate the coding and getting the system into production by bringing an additional consultant into the project. Skill set desired:– Mid-to-Senior-level C# coding experience in Visual C#– Experience coding around serial ports and virtual COM ports – Experience using Git and GitHubDue to the need to connect with the physical devices for connecting and testing the app, the consultant will ideally work a fair amount onsite in the Danbury facility. The client is not opposed to some remote work, but there will need to be some onsite to work with the equipment. They have an alternate location in Marlborough, MA which could be an option for someone living in the Boston area. The project could be a standard 40 hours/week, but they are also open to someone working 20-25 hours a week, there's some flexibility.
