Warehouse Technician (Evening Shift)

One of our clients has a brand-new opportunity for a Warehouse Technician to join their team onsite in the Bloomfield, CT area. This role will work on the afternoon / evening shift, working 3:00pm EST through 11:00pm EST. This role will support a hardware refresh project that our client is working on - with this technician receiving all the old machines back to this Bloomfield location. This role is the GBS Collection Technician and will assist with the asset return / collection initiative. Overview:

• Working / managing asset collection tickets and status
• Creating shipping and return shipping labels inputting this data into the collection ticket
• Updating ticket with items received as the equipment is returned
• Wiping HDD's of returned machines
• Assisting with the coordination of E-waste disposals / pickups
• Monitoring of inventory levels (shipping supplies, etc.)
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Additional duties as time allows:
  • Assisting with shipping of outgoing materials (for asset returns)
  • Assisting with unpacking / sorting of returned equipment
  • Assisting with disposal / recycling of returned boxes
• Must be able to work unsupervised and be well organized
