Description Thriving company located in the Wilmington Delaware is looking to staff an Accountant with proven accounting expertise. The responsibilities for this Accountant role consist of handling general accounting operations such as: assisting with accounts payable/receivable activities, reviewing general ledger accounts, assisting with monthly account reconciliations, preparing journal entries, assisting with bank reconciliations, and participating in the development and tracking of budgets. The ideal candidate for this role should have great problem-solving skills, highly organized, excellent time-management and strong budgeting/forecasting abilities that will ensure revenue generation.Everyday Responsibilities:
Support daily accounting functions
Month End/Year End Close
Preparing monthly financial statements
Daily Cash Reporting/Cash Management
Monitor and analyze general ledger accounts
Database Management
1099 Preparation
General ledger account reconciliation
Ad hoc special projects as requested
Requirements
The ideal Accountant MUST have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.Other requirements for the Accountant role include and are not limited to:
3+ years of accounting experience
Advanced in MS Excel required
QuickBooks, SAGE CRE, M3 experience is preferred
Hospitality or Property Management background preferred
