Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in New Castle, Delaware. The role is within the industry of financial services and involves handling a high volume of customer accounts, processing payments, and ensuring the accuracy of customer records. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately enter customer payments into the system and update account information as necessary Research and reconcile discrepancies and credits on customer accounts Regularly review customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status Communicate effectively with customers to handle inquiries and requests, providing exceptional customer service Collaborate with sales and other departments to maintain accurate notes on customer account status and delivery information Supervise customer account portfolios, including updating and maintaining contact information and notes on account status Handle a high volume of customer accounts, ensuring efficient and effective service Utilize financial notes and templates to maintain clear and accurate records Resolve account discrepancies and collect outstanding payments when necessary Utilize skills in research analysis, payment processing, and accounts receivable to perform job duties effectively. Requirements Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) Excellent customer service skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities Proven sales skills Proficiency in payment processing procedures Previous supervisory experience Ability to use scanning equipment Experience in handling financial notes Ability to identify and resolve account discrepancies Skilled in video communication tools Ability to conduct research and analysis Knowledge of managing customer accounts Experience working in a call center environment Ability to work onsite Familiarity with professional templates Experience in resolving discrepancies Ability to interact with retailers Experience in collecting outstanding payments Ability to work in a fast-paced environment High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
