Please note that this is a 1 year contract position. Day shift: Available to start between 5:30 AM - 7:30AMWorks on process/product/production assignments with clearly defined objectives. Performs routine tasks, using prescribed procedures. Solves problems of limited scope and complexity. This position is responsible for Weldment sub-assembly for 7890 detectors and inlets. It includes but is not limited to: Works on process/product/production assignments with clearly defined objectives. Performs routine tasks, using prescribed procedures. Solves problems of limited scope and complexity.This position is responsible for assembly and test of 7890 GC. It includes but is not limited to: - Assemble and/or test assemblies/product in production. - Monitor & verify quality of each production operation using visual inspection, basic measurement devices and automated test equipment. Testing and troubleshooting requires technical understanding of the product and judgment decisions. - Perform routine production line tasks defined by the work area using hand tools and/or operating equipment according to quality procedures: nonconforming material/product, equipment calibration, ESD precautions, etc. - Manage the inventory function on the bench. - Support team members in achieving the production line objectives and goals through effective teamwork. This includes providing constructive feedback to peers. - Maintain flexibility and receptiveness to change in daily routine. This includes a willingness to move to another shift. - This position may require overtime for an extended period. - Work to and meet all appropriate specified standard times. Complete assignments in a timely manner. - Position may require more responsibility related to impact on the business and customer.Requirements: - Quality system orientation: demonstrated use of tools, methods and processes to ensure that own/others’ work meet quality standards. - Responsibility/ownership: demonstrated willingness to take responsibility for resolving problems, - General computer literacy: effective use of computer applications to perform work or testing. - No known allergies to industrial chemicals used in the work area. - Must be able to work under a flow hood. Time spent during workday: 40% - Stooping ,bending, walking, reaching to retrieve or deliver parts typically under but not limited to 35 lbs. 60% - Position requires standing for majority of the time but allows some flexibility to sit.Applicants must provide their phone number.
