- Partner with Talent Management leadership and operations and HR Reporting teams to provide functional support for firmwide compliance trainings
- Closely partner with TM Leadership and HR Reporting in defining, executing and delivering on BlackRock Academies' data strategy
- Work with HR reporting to design intuitive and user friendly learning reports and dashboards for managers and HR Business Managers/COOs
- Partner with Talent Management leadership and other internal BLK businesses to extend Leaning Experience Platform to external BLK's clients
- Work with various learning content providers to build content catalog and learner tracking integrations with BlackRock's LMS and LXP platforms
- Partner with Talent Management Leadership and external vendors to enable mobile application for BlackRock Academies
- Identify areas of automation in the Learning infrastructure and processes and engage Robotic Process Automation team to bring those ideas to life
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure BlackRock's learning platform requirements are pushed on product roadmap
- Manage execution and change management for yearly product upgrades for LMS and LXP
- Strong understanding of HR technology, processes and data
- Must be able to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, and provide conclusions or approaches to the job
- Must be able to interpret complex problems and formulate an opinion (i.e., can take a concept w/ basic directional guidance and map to a viable solution hypothesis)
- Ability to synthesize project status (including progress relative to goals/timeline, as well as issues and risks)
- Experience overseeing/directing resources outside of his/her span of control
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams
- Self-learner/proactively researches / demonstrates general interest in HR technology
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Must have prior experience working with HR systems, with a preference for experience with Workday
- Strong analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively anticipate problems and opportunities and confidence to use initiative to pursue solutions
- Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage complex work within tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
