Job Description:In this position, you will focus on solving customer AV issues and requests by supporting integrated AV equipment. You will work onsite with our client as a Stefanini Employee, You will also be dispatched to assist users at their desks, offices, conference rooms, etc. Reporting directly to The Lead, the Technician's prime function is to provide AV technical support across all meeting rooms and maintain accurate deskside hardware inventory. The position involves a high degree of exposure, working sometimes with executive management and managing directors of the firm to provide the services listed below. The Technician's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supporting AV equipment in large corporate environmentEnsure all multi-media/presentation rooms are maintained in good working order.AV equipment setup and support.Presentation/multi-media meeting room support, including duration support.Assist with support for multi-media broadcasting.Quick response to urgent/ad-hoc requests.Assist where possible with IT related enquiries during supports. Escalate issues if required.Carry out regular preventative room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly in accordance with the room check procedure.Ensure that all faults are reported in the correct way and in a timely manner.Proactive maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly.Assist with first and second line fault repairs.Carry out all power down/up when required, usually involving out-of-hours overtime commitments.Follow-up on issues reported to aid resolution.

General Deskside Duties:Advise clients on best practices with new inventory setup and maintenanceProvide feedback on communication issues and service improvements.Manual handling tasks will be required when necessary for moving equipment.Ability to lift 50lbs Experience and understanding of large-scale inventory management practicesSNOW experience preferred Configure hardware for new hiresCollecting and reimaging systems and hardware from terminationsMaintain and replace broken hardware and inventoryOccasional travel to Philadelphia, PA.RequirementsTechnical proficiency in the area of conference room operations, video conferencing systems, equipment, software, accessory devices and general audio-visual principlesBasic understanding and ability to read construction drawings of floor plans, as well as system and control diagramsSkills necessary to determine the solution and root cause of issueKnowledge of design and installation practices of AV systems and services
