AECOM is actively seeking a Construction Inspector in our Newark, DE Office for a variety of infrastructure projects throughout the Delaware-Maryland-Pennsylvania tri-state area. Typical assignments may include water and wastewater projects, erosion and sediment control inspection, stormwater facilities inspection, and other projects throughout the tri state area.Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:Perform construction inspections to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, codes, and quality standardsConduct daily field inspections of water and wastewater construction activitiesMonitor on-site construction progress, workmanship, and contractor activitiesPerform field observations, material sampling, and testing to verify compliance with contract requirementsMonitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection dutiesMaintain accurate inspection reports, daily records, and project documentationMonitor and track quality assurance activities and construction progressParticipate in pre-construction meetings, punch list preparation, testing, and commissioning activitiesIdentify and report deficiencies, deviations, or nonconforming workAssist the Senior Inspector with daily inspection responsibilities and other project-related duties under general supervision
