AECOM is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our team. We are seeking candidates who will be able to immediately contribute to the successful delivery of projects and promote growth in existing and new markets. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate project experience, require a strong focus on health and safety, be detailed orientated, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and will be capable of working collaboratively in a high-performance team.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Managing scope, schedule, and budget for mid to large-sized environmental projectsBuilding strong client relationshipsClient and regulatory correspondenceTechnical report writing and reviewHealth and safety stewardship, including local field visits and trackingAnalyzes and applies solutions to atypical and/or semi-complex and challenging issues within area of expertisePreparing cost estimates and proposalsWorking effectively with project teams, clients, and other stakeholdersCoordinating work schedules with AECOM staff, subcontractors, clients and other stakeholdersResponsible for quality control of tasksMay mentor project Jr. staff in support of projects and tasksWill require some regional travel for project work, and client meetingsPreform and coordinate SPCC, SWPPP, Air and RCRA inspections at various locationsKeep well organized files and documentation to meet regulatory requirements, including permitting.Performs a variety of tasks in support of project staff.May gather and maintain specified records of scientific data, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites.Other activities may include assisting with calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation. Effectively communicate with site representatives regarding schedules and task requirements.Preform SPCC, SWPPP, and RCRA inspections at various locationsKeep well organized files and documentation to meet regulatory requirements.Performs a variety of tasks in support of project staff.May gather and maintain specified records of scientific data for supervisor, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites.Other activities may include assisting with calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation.Participate in other environment-related projects and tasks as required, including, but not limited to, client WWTP operations at regional client facilities, often directing staff, as necessary.Intimate knowledge of environmental regulations, practices, and procedures; recognizes differences or changes that would indicate the need for attention. Receives and maintains required safety training including OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER Training with annual 8-hr refresher, 30-hr OSHA Training, client-specific training, and regulatory specific training.Position will include wearing associated personal protective equipment, including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses/goggles, safety shoes/boots, hard hat, and hearing protection while on project sites or as required by project task/work.
