Full Stack Developer (LIMS)

Going digital requires holistic thinking that puts humans at the center of everything.

• Develop web applications using Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, WebStorm or PhpStorm
• Deploy and support web applications within IIS, Apache and/or Tomcat Web Servers
• Working with R&D teams to test and validate configurable workflows within the LIMS platform.
• Demonstrates robust skills in requirements gathering, project scope, and planning of implementation of laboratory workflows.
• Implement configurable workflows for varying needs for laboratories.
• Full understanding of Database Administrative tasks in MS SQL and Oracle environments: security roles, database creation and backup/restore procedures.
• Perform requirements gathering for transformation into technical documentation and design

• BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
• 3 - 5 years of relevant software development experience at least two of the following languages: C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Web Development Libraries
• At least 3 years of relevant Laboratory Information Management Systems experience.

• Familiar with Azure Cloud or AWS, Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings.
• Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience in working with database technology, specifically administering Oracle and MSSQL platforms.
• Understanding of application-to-application communication interfaces utilizing web services architecture.
• Familiar with version control and code repository such as Gitlab.

• Project Management Skills - Ability to apply frameworks and methodologies such as Agile and SCRUM throughout a project’s lifecycle.
• Communication skills – Capable of effectively communicate complex technical ideas and the business value associated with information management best practices to all stakeholders. Comfortable identifying and communicating translating the needs of the scientist to IT
• Technical documentation – Capable of creating technical procedural and environment documentation.
• Collaboration and Networking - Proficient at networking and sharing ideas and success. The must effectively collaborate with colleagues from related functions and 3rd Party Vendors (e.g. IT, Dotmatics, StarLIMS)
• Customer Focused – Driven to understand customer needs, improve services, and maintain effective customer relations.
