You’ll have opportunity to research improving analytical throughput and workflow enablement developments that will improve data quality, increase throughput, and drive customer success.The client is seeking a highly motivated applications chemist with a proven track record of experience in LC/MS and MS to help drive market growth for the supplies that support operation and maintenance of these analytical technologies. Working from our Little Falls Site in Wilmington, Delaware, you'll interact with Product Managers, R&D Engineers, and other Scientists engaged in developing new product technologies, applications to supporting new product introductions, expanding the range of applications for legacy products, and evaluating analytical workflows to identify opportunities for improving productivity for LC/MS and MS analytical solutions.Responsibilities include:Interact with Key Opinion Leaders to monitor industry trends from technical perspective identifying emerging applications and critical customer requirements in the applied marketsWork with marketing and commercial teams to gather VoCProvide expertise related to key applications to design and development teamsVerify performance and competitiveness of technological designsEvaluate and report on the analytical performance of competitive product introductionsSupport commercialization strategies as a technical expert through development of customer facing collateral and internal documentationDevelop new applications and solutions featuring LC/MS and MS supplies, and communicate the work via technical publications and presentationsSupport training to company personnelSupport marketing through website review and update.Participate in Community groups to identify productivity impediments that impact customer workflow productivity PhD or MS in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or related applied sciences fieldMinimum of 6 years industry experience in a scientific field with demonstrated expertise with LC/MS and MS analyses, preferably involving analytical chemistry in a commercial laboratory environmentAbility to work independently and with interdisciplinary project teams, understand project requirements, and follow project timelines.Knowledge of and skill in using computer software and hardware applications, including Microsoft products and the InternetExcellent communication skills including oral presentations and technical writingAbility to manage and prioritize tasks across a diverse teamGeneral knowledge of the Agile process for project management a plusApplicants must provide their phone number.
