Job Title: Lead Forklift Operator – Natural Upcycling

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and organized Lead Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations at our sustainability-focused food waste company. In this dual-role position, you’ll operate a forklift while also overseeing the flow of truck unloading and reloading, ensuring all processes run safely, smoothly, and on schedule. You will also be responsible for handling related paperwork and coordinating with warehouse staff and drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a forklift to assist with unloading and reloading trucks

Lead the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments

Communicate with drivers to maintain efficiency

Ensure all shipping and receiving paperwork is accurate and completed in a timely manner

Maintain safety standards and support a clean, organized work environment

Qualifications:

Valid forklift certification with hands-on operating experience

Experience in warehouse logistics or shipping/receiving preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to multitask and oversee multiple processes simultaneously

Interest in sustainability and reducing food waste is a plus
