JOB DESCRIPTION:The Lead Developer is part of an agile development team responsible for building and maintaining enterprise software systems. This role will work closely with the Enterprise Architect and other team members to ensure that the development teams deliver quality software solutions that meet the needs of the business, add business value, and are consistent with our technical design patterns. The Lead Developer will collaborate with other leads and architects to assist in application design and will mentor other developers as needed on best practices and the latest technologies. This is a hands-on role that will involve coding as well as design and architecture work.

Essential Functions:
  • Collaborate with architects and developers to design new systems, applications, and components to support the continued growth of the business.
  • Participate in technical grooming sessions with development teams to ensure that new initiatives are well designed and understood before development begins.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and support Web Applications using a variety of technologies, including Microsoft .Net, C# and SQL Server as well as front-end frameworks such as React.js.
  • Design and build serverless Web APIs and microservices to support front end applications in an AWS cloud environment.
  • Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
  • Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications. Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
  • Learn new technologies and keep abreast of existing technologies and apply these to a variety of projects as applicable. Research and evaluate a variety of software products to support business needs & initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience in the computer science field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise application development utilizing Microsoft technologies.
  • Strong experience with C# programming language and/or other.NET languages
  • Experience designing and building high volume serverless solutions in AWS, including Web APIs and Restful Services.
  • Experience with front-end development frameworks such as React.JS or Vue.JS
  • Knowledge of SQL Server technologies and experience developing database applications using SQL server.
  • Experience working in an Agile SCRUM environment.
  • Strong object-oriented programming and design skills.
  • Extensive experience with unit and integration testing.
