Office Manager / Bookkeeper / HR Generalist (Full‑Time, On‑Site)

Location: Dover, DE Monday–Friday 40 hrs/week

What You’ll Do

Office Management (≈35 %)

Oversee office facilities, supplies, vendors, safety, and compliance inspections.

Coordinate calendars, travel, meetings, and visitor logistics for U.S. team and leadership.

Maintain on‑site IT asset inventory and enforce office policies (security, ergonomics, operations, expense control).

Bookkeeping & Finance Support (≈35 %)

Process accounts payable/receivable, credit‑card expenses, petty cash, and bank reconciliations in QuickBooks Online.

Prepare month‑end close packages (P&L, balance sheet, cash‑flow, variance analysis) by WD+5.

Liaise with our external CPA on federal/state filings, 1099s, and quarterly estimates.

HR Generalist (≈30 %)

Manage the full employee life cycle—recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, performance reviews, training and exits.

Run bi‑weekly payroll (QuickBooks, Timetrex) and maintain HRIS data integrity.

Ensure 100 % compliance with federal and Delaware labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, EEO, I‑9, ACA).

Champion a people‑centric culture: drive engagement initiatives, coach managers, and resolve disputes.

What Success Looks Like

Office supplies & facilities issues resolved with zero stock‑outs and < 2 % budget variance.

Error‑free reconciliations and on‑time tax filings; month‑end close completed by WD+5.

100 % on‑time payroll; 0 compliance citations; voluntary attrition < 10 %, policy development and roll out.

What You’ll Bring

5+ years in a blended office/finance/HR role supporting teams of 10+ (small‑to‑mid‑size, high‑growth preferred).

Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting, Business Administration, HR, or related field.

Mastery of QuickBooks Online, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, and a modern HRIS/payroll system.

Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and federal/state employment regs.

Laser‑sharp attention to detail, rock‑solid integrity, and the confidence to juggle multiple priorities.

Nice‑to‑Haves, Not a Must

SHRM‑CP, PHR, or bookkeeping certification (NACPB/AIPB).

Experience with multicultural/distributed teams.

Familiarity with import/export, e-commernce and logistics

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $44,800.22 - $52,361.55 per year
