  • Perform system administrative functions including set-up and configurations, maintenance of standard objects, custom objects and tabs, user account maintenance, reports/dashboards building, workflows/triggers and other routine tasks, design and support role hierarchies, and sharing rules.
  • Perform maintenance and enhancements on existing and new integrations as required using web services and/or flat files as required.
  • Communicate with project managers, clients and other developers to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, design cohesive project strategies, and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of new development, testing and deployment.
  • Participate in the evaluation, scoping, and delivery of new enhancement requests and process changes.
  • Support functional design sessions, recommend configurable components of Conga/SFDC to satisfy business needs.
  • Develop enhancements to meet contract system requirements, including enhanced workflows, validations, and custom configurations.
  • Participate in and support testing of CLM system during enhancements, projects, or regression testing.
  • Maintain technical documentation as required.
  • Write specifications for user interfaces as needed in support of customized applications.
  • Perform system updates from SFDC and Conga as required, supporting any retro-fitting, testing, and rollout efforts.
  • Perform daily maintenance and support of the CLM, including ticket response through resolution, monitoring system integrations, and other key system metrics.
  • Provide system administration support related to application customizations, user permissions, security settings, custom objects and workflow.
  • Complete regular internal system audits and back-ups.
  • Design and implement required integration points with related systems (ERP, HR, Privacy, etc.).
  • Maintain/support DocuSign integration and related accounts.
  • Perform any data loads (Accounts, Agreements, Attachments, etc.) as required.
  • Assist in training of new users, and support growth of CLM system skill sets across the organization.
  • Effectively act as a liaison between internal and external users and business groups where required.
  • Work independently with members of the user community to define and document enhancement requirements.
  • Participate in long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving requirements.
  • Assess the impact of new requirements in the legal system and all upstream and downstream integrated applications, systems and processes.
  • Liaise with internal clients and Legal as it relates to system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Work with line management, Legal team, and business departments to find integrated business solutions, including needs assessment, system design, development, and validation.
  • Participate in end-to-end project planning in agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Support Legal operations with ad hoc activities as requested related to the management of contracts, internal and external audits, discovery documentation, and other research using data from the CLM.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company's global business, its people, products, markets, facilities, customers and competitors, and utilize that knowledge in working with internal clients.
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering or technical field.
  • 7+ years of Salesforce Development experience, with understanding of legal contracting and/or contract management systems.
  • Experience with SFDC Administration with accompanying certification preferred.
  • Ability to work in Classic environment with knowledge of Lightning.
  • Proficient with Apex, VisualForce, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Lightning conversions from Classic preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and document management skills are required.
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Strong project and data management ability.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Conga (formerly Apttus) Contract Management system preferred.
  • Team player with supportive attitude to work in the fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.
  • Desired certifications: SFDC Certified Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I & II.
