Job Description:
This role is on the Global Technology Change and Third Party team and is seeking a candidate who has deep industry experience in Software License Compliance and/or Software Asset Management. The role will drive improvements in the software monitoring processes based on industry best practices and minimize software contractual compliance risk by improving data quality and accuracy of the compliance monitoring and establishing new Quality Control and Quality Assurance functions.Key responsibilities include but not limited to:- Drive simplification, streamlining, and automation activities based on industry best practices - to improve the processes that interact with the Software License Compliance team
- Buildout of a Quality Control function to improve data quality by:
- testing adherence to processes and procedures
- creating test scripts to measure process controls, reports, and outputs
- identifying opportunities to improve the overall quality of the monitoring
- Buildout of a Quality Assurance function to maintain ongoing standards and processes with the Software Compliance team
- Strong risk management skills including segmentation of risks
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze, interpret, and match data from multiple data sources
- Strong communication skills (including verbal, written, presentation and active listening)·
- Process design & re-engineering competencies to drive process efficiencies, simplification and automation
- Knowledge and experience with software contracts negotiation, software sourcing and/or software procurement
- Ability to read and identify relevant terms and conditions as they relate to the software license compliance
- Ability to navigate in a complex organization and operate effectively in a dynamic environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- 5-10 years software license monitoring data analysis
- Usage of a Software License Management Tool i.e. - Flexera Network Management Suite (FNMS)
- Knowledge of Discovery Tools i.e. BMC Discovery, Microsoft CB
- Microsoft, IBM or Adobe software licensing experience
