BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Software Engineer in Wilmington, DE

Role: Software Engineer Location: Wilmington, DE & Jersey City, NJ Hybrid work model : 3 days Onsite and 2 days Remote Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire(W2 Resource Only) Roles and Responsibilities: Drive performance testing, metrics capture, test planning, documentation, facilitation, resource alignment for ECCS performance testing

Description:

  • Understanding of Performance testing life cycle & best practices.
  • Hands on with End to end Performance testing capabilities - Scripting and Scenario creation, execution using Blazemeter JMeter / LoadRunner.
  • Strong knowledge of Jmeter/Blazemeter / Load runner/Perf Center.
  • Should be able to do analysis of Splunk Log.
  • Good knowledge of Dynatrace and Troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Knowledge on Hammer tool would be added advantage.
  • Should be able to lead and guide a team of Performance Engineers.
  • Should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound experience with modern infrastructure technology and architecture (cloud, virtualization, object stores, etc.).
  • Ability to develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity.
  • Ability to interpret system / business requirements and prepare specification and design document.
  • Sound Knowledge of tools Jira / Confluence.
  • Strong troubleshooting /problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, Dockers and Kubernetes
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals Passionate about building an innovative culture
Skills (required)

  • Minimum 5 years enterprise experience
  • Kubernetes testing or Cloud testing - #1
  • Dynatrace Reports - #2
  • J-Meter - #3 (experience in LoadRunner (okay) - performance testing tool
Skills (Nice to have)

  • Grafana
  • Hammer Scripting
