What You'll Contribute

The Senior Manager of Web Analytics will work collaboratively with multiple business units within the organization. This includes Web Strategy, Brand, Corporate Communications, Product and Marketing. They will need to prioritize cross-functional projects effectively. The individual should have experience with web-based analytics, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations to the aforementioned groups based on analysis and trending of site data.

The individual will build a suite of reporting, ensuring it meets the business needs. It is expected that the Senior Manager will work with management and the business to determine what information is necessary to include and execute against organizational goals. He/she will become the subject matter expert, presenting complicated analyses in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences. The individual will be asked to leverage analytics to improve the holistic customer experience on the web site and provide continued insight to that end.

Experience in pathing analysis, user behavior, waterfall/fallout analysis and site testing are a must. The Senior Manager should be familiar with the major web analytics tools, particularly Adobe. They should have or be able to quickly gain knowledge and understanding of site QA, tagging requirements, CX tools, and tag management tools. He/she will work with the website technology team to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements.

The individual must possess leadership skills and be able to work autonomously and effectively in a dynamic and changing work environment. Communication and prioritization skill are a must, as is the ability to present information, strategy, and recommendations clearly and succinctly to management.

Please note this role is hybrid: 2-3 days a week in office, 2-3 day a week work from home

    • Provides strategic guidance to business managers.
    • Serves as subject matter expert in all aspects of web analytics.
    • Develops/refines techniques to improve output.
  • Reporting
    • Builds and manages reporting suite to cover business needs.
    • Creates executive-type presentations with structure format to share results.
  • Self-Development
    • Proactively identifies potential new data and ways to analyze.
    • Develops knowledge and viewpoints on all tools and tactics.
    • Presents information in a manner that is clear to the target audience.

What You Have

Minimum Education, Skills and Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 6+ years of quantitative experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in web analytics.
  • 1-2 years of experience in SQL and/or SAS.
  • Deep experience with Adobe's web suite, including Analytics.
  • Proficient in MS office including Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Excellent project managements skills.

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience
  • Tag Management knowledge, eg. Tealium or Adobe Launch.
  • Understanding of Agile development principles.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI.
