What You'll Contribute

The candidate will be a well-rounded IT professional to manage multiple technical activities that support the servicing functions of the company. This will include the design and development of technical programs that support reporting, business automation, and adhoc remediation efforts. This position will require direct involvement in the design and development of solutions, which will include a high level of engagement with various business and technical partners throughout the company. Candidate will have thorough working knowledge of SQL, Python, Microsoft Office, and other business intelligence tools. Hands-on experience with AWS based solutions and CI/CD pipeline deployment is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have an extensive working knowledge of cutting-edge technical tools and languages. Primary responsibilities will include developing high-performing technical solutions to achieve the desired results of our business with enhanced reliability and performance.

The candidate will have excellent communication skills, along with a deep understanding of technical capabilities, including the design and implementation of auditing and safeguarding programs.

This job is part of a team of experienced IT professionals utilizing an Agile development methodology.

What You'll Do
  • Technical Development
    • Works directly with systems architecture teams to develop and maintain a high-performance infrastructure with reduced vulnerabilities.
    • Identifies areas of weakness within an existing environment and develop solution for continued improvement.
    • Performs regular maintenance on existing environments and continue development to take advantage of emerging technologies and solutions.
  • Business Automation Solution Development
    • Leads the development efforts of business automation solutions to drive down operational costs and decrease corporate risks.
    • Assists the business analyst team in the discovery and design phases to develop high quality and sustainable solutions for our business partners.
    • Acts as a change agent to influence new and improved ways to achieve high quality strategies for technical solutions.
  • Remediation Management
    • Works directly with business and technical partners to fully understand areas of risk or customer disruption.
    • Provides leadership support to uncover full population identification by thoroughly investigating all impacted systems.
    • Develops remediation plans to ensure complete coverage and minimal disruption to internal and external customers.
  • Technical Support
    • Provides support to other members of the team to improve technical solutions and advance operations.
    • Assists with problem solving exercises, as needed, to all members of the business and technical teams
  • Identifying Process Improvement
    • Consistently monitors activity and processes to uncover areas of improvement. Challenge the status quo and seek out areas of weakness or concern.

What You Have

Minimum Education, Skills and Experience Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Information Technology/Computer Technology or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years in large data center environments.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python development.
  • 3+ years of related work experience designing and developing technical solutions to business operations
  • Ability to understand business problems and translate these problems into automated solutions.
  • Knowledge of programming and system debugging.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Team player mentality and excellent work ethic.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated initiative with strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to make complex decisions in a a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases such as Snowflake, Netezza, or SQL Server
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS integration, emphasis on Fargate, Lambda, and Docker container development
  • 2 + years of hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline deployment
  • 3+ years of related work experience designing and developing technical solutions to business operations
